Libraries

The open-source pieces we build our own games on, published for anyone to use.

Rust, dual-licensed MIT or Apache-2.0, and used in production in our own titles — which is the only reason any of it is any good.

bevy_pf

v0.3.2Write Bevy UI in XAML.

A XAML / WPF-style UI framework for the Bevy game engine. Declare the interface in markup — inline through the xaml! macro or in separate .xaml files — style it with resources and triggers, and bind it to Rust state. The control set, the parser and the binding model follow WPF, so the markup you already know carries over.

  • A WPF-conformant parser: namespaces, property elements, markup extensions, styles with triggers, merged dictionaries and data binding — checked at compile time by the xaml! macro.
  • The full control set, from Button through DataGrid: panels, lists, menus, tabs, trees, popups, tooltips and shapes with the path mini-language.
  • Every control instantiates into ordinary Bevy ECS entities, so the rest of your game sees normal components and systems.

bevy_pf_vector

v0.1.3The vector renderer underneath.

An original vector and UI rendering engine written for bevy_pf, targeting Bevy 0.19. It draws the shapes, text and clipping that the control set is built from.

  • Purpose-built for UI: anti-aliased fills and strokes, the path mini-language, clipping and layered compositing.
  • Used by bevy_pf for every shape it draws, and usable on its own.
